The Dripping Springs High School JROTC is partnering with Toys for Tots and the Marine Corps to help raise toys and money for Austin area children! You can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at any of the following locations until December 1! Donations can also be made at austin-tx.toysfortots.org.


The Dripping Springs High School HOSA program will sponsor a blood drive on Tuesday, Oct. 15 from 9 AM-3 PM in the front DSHS parking lot. Congratulations to the Dripping Springs High School Tiger Cry yearbook staff for earning four marks of distinction (essentials, coverage, design and photography) from the National Student Press Association (NSPA) for their 2024 yearbook! The staff also received the highest NSPA honor with an All-American rating.


DSHS Tiger Baseball seniors Cooper Rummel and Taylor Tracey were named to the 31-player East Team roster for the Perfect Game All-American Classic! The game will be held Sunday, August 18 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona. Good luck, Tigers!

DSISD staff came together Friday morning for our annual Convocation to kickoff the 2024-25 school year, featuring live music, student performances, door prizes, games, breakfast, and more! Dripping Springs High School welcomed freshmen and new students yesterday for the new student orientation, ROAR. Students toured the campus, met administrators, learned more about student organizations, and more!











On Saturday, approximately 100 Dripping Springs High School seniors participated in a college application boot camp organized by the DSHS Counseling Department. Seniors received information regarding the application and admissions processes, and had the opportunity to have their application essays reviewed by staff.


DSISD is excited to welcome back five Dripping Springs High School graduates who will be joining the district as teachers this school year!
