It was a big day at Walnut Springs Elementary on Tuesday! The DSISD Board of Trustees toured the campus and had an opportunity to receive an update about the school’s progress towards earning its Lighthouse Certification. Meanwhile, representatives from the Leader in Me program were onsite to perform their audit as part of the certification process. To top it off, student-led conferences were taking place so the Trustees got to hear from students about how they are setting goals and taking ownership of their learning. It was a busy day and the campus did an amazing job juggling it all!
