Each January, more than 1,200 public school districts across Texas recognize school board members who play a vital role by volunteering their time to serve students, school district employees, and their communities. School board service is a volunteer position with no salary. DSISD trustees complete required annual training and dedicate countless hours to campus visits, events, and meetings in support of 8,800 students and 1,200 employees. At DSISD, we say 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to our Board of Trustees for their commitment, dedication, and service to our students, staff, and schools.
