The Dripping Springs High School Tiger Band will host a community concert on Monday, May 4, at 6:30 PM in the DSHS auditorium. The program will feature performances by the Tiger Band Colorguard, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Concert Bands, along with guest speakers and a presentation of the Sudler Shield Award. The Tiger Band was recognized with this award in February for its exceptional achievement in musical performance, choreography, and overall show design from the 2025 marching season.

The DSISD Human Resources team hosted a record-breaking Become a Teacher Job Fair on Wednesday, April 8, focused on strengthening the district’s educator pipeline and expanding access to teaching careers. 🍎📚 With over 65 attendees, the event brought together certified teachers seeking employment, current instructional aides, and community members exploring pathways into education. 👩🏫👨🏫 Attendees connected with campus leaders and learned about certification programs. Notably, many attendees were current district employees seeking internal growth opportunities, alongside candidates from other districts and individuals entering or returning to education — reinforcing DSISD as an employer of choice. 🌟

Congratulations to the Tiger Softball team on an EIGHTH CONSECUTIVE DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP!🏆 With two district games still to play, the Tigers clinched the title Tuesday with a 9-5 home win over Lake Travis, improving to 10-0 in district play and 23-6-1 overall.
