DSISD hosted Taxpayer Tuesday today at the Center for Learning & Leadership to discuss the 89th Legislative Session and how public education is impacted. The DSISD Board of Trustees Advocacy Subcommittee presented the board's legislative priorities for this session and what they've been advocating for in meetings with legislators.
The Dripping Springs High School HOSA program will sponsor a blood drive on Tuesday, Feb. 11 from 9 AM-3 PM in the front DSHS parking lot. DSISD has announced grandfathering guidelines for the attendance rezoning that will go into effect for the 2025-26 school year with the opening of Wildwood Springs Elementary and the expansion of Sycamore Springs Middle School. On Saturday, the Dripping Springs High School cheer squad placed 13th out of 75 6A Division 2 schools at the UIL Spirit State Championships! The Tigers matched their highest state finish in program history (2022) and earned their best finish as a 6A program. Congratulations, Tigers!🐅🐾

With the Winter Storm Warning that is in effect for our area, all DSISD schools and district offices will be closed Tuesday, January 21. This closure includes all activities, events, and meetings scheduled for Tuesday.
