One of the projects included in DSISD’s 2025 Bond was retrofitting our school buses with seat belts. We are pleased to report that seat belts have now been installed on 33 additional buses, bringing our total to 66 buses equipped with seat belts. Currently, 90% of DSISD buses have seat belts, including all daily route buses and all athletic buses. Thank you to the voters who helped make this project possible!

The DSISD 18+ Program is selling School Spirit Scribblers (black pens) through December 15! These customizable pens are designed and assembled by our students as part of the program’s entrepreneurial training component, and all profits directly support the program—helping students explore new entrepreneurial opportunities. The Dripping Springs High School JROTC Military Club is partnering with Toys for Tots and the Marine Corps to help raise toys and money for Austin area children this holiday season! You can drop off a new, unwrapped toy at any of the following locations until December 1! Donations can also be made at austin-tx.toysfortots.org.
