Being at school helps students achieve greater academic achievement, build responsibility and strong time-management habits, strengthen social skills, and develop friendships. The Tigers ARE BACK! DSISD campuses welcomed students for the first day of school on Wednesday, marking the start of the 2026-27 school year! Here’s to a fantastic year of learning, growing, and making memories!
DSISD schools welcomed students and their families back to campus over the past week for a variety of back-to-school events, including parent orientations, new student tours, Open House, and Meet the Teacher. We loved seeing our campuses filled with excitement as our students and staff get ready for another great year! We hope all of our Tigers have a fantastic first day of school tomorrow!
