I am thrilled and honored to join Cypress Springs Elementary as your new Assistant Principal! Originally from Southeast Texas, just outside of Beaumont, I bring 13 years of experience in education. My journey as an educator has taken me from teaching middle school mathematics to campus and district leadership roles in Central Texas, including Instructional Coach, Curriculum Specialist, and most recently STEM Coordinator. My approach to leadership is rooted in partnership. In this role, I'm committed to empowering our students, supporting our teachers, and collaborating with families by providing the tools, resources, and open communication needed for all to excel.

Becoming a mother has profoundly shaped my perspective as an educator. It has deepened my understanding of the trust families place in educators, allowing me to bring even greater empathy and care to how I serve our students and families. I’m excited to bring this heart-centered perspective to Cypress Springs and to work alongside the dedicated staff and families of this learning community.

Outside of school, I enjoy time with my husband and our two young boys, ages three and one. We love exploring the outdoors. You can usually find us outdoors, whether on a lake or at a family ranch.

I'm truly thankful for the opportunity to serve Cypress Springs Elementary. I look forward to contributing to the continued success of CSE and working together to help every student thrive!
