My name is Abbey Smart and I am beyond excited that I get to be the school counselor at Wildwood Springs Elementary!

I have been in education for 20 years. I was a classroom teacher for 16 years and was a counselor at Sycamore Springs Elementary for 4 years.  I decided to become a school counselor so I could focus on the social & emotional needs of students to help support their learning.

I have loved being a part of the Dripping Springs ISD family for 8 years and feel fortunate to be here to continue my journey as an educator at Wildwood Springs.

Abbey is here to support all students and their families. She offers many forms of intervention including classroom guidance lessons, individual counseling, and small group counseling.
