The DSISD Board of Trustees approved the 2025-26 Academic Calendar at the Dec. 16 board meeting. To reduce the total number of instructional days during the school year, 10 minutes have been added to each school day. On Wednesday, the Citizens' Bond Steering Committee (CBSC), composed of parents, students and community members, held their sixth and final meeting. Thank you to the 40 committee members for their work over the past couple of months to help develop a bond package recommendation for consideration by the DSISD Board of Trustees!

On Friday, the Marines collected nearly 20 full boxes of toys and a $1,500 check from the Dripping Springs High School JROTC's Toys for Tots drive! Thank you to everyone who donated to help children in the Austin area!
