Summer Programs

Registration for Camp Venture and Adventure Camp opens Monday, March 30, at 7:00 a.m. Registration for all other summer camps open Thursday, April 2, at 7:00 a.m.

Camp Venture

Grades: Kindergarten-2nd Grade
Tuition Rate: $250 / Week
Location: Walnut Springs Elementary
Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Days: Mondays - Thursdays 
Dates: June 1 - July 23 (excluding week of June 29)

Activities: Campers will go through a scheduled series of rotations to include weekly themes, art, gym, playground, snack, lunch, crafts, playtime, movies, themed rooms, etc. in the morning as well as in the afternoon.

Adventure Camp

Grades: 3rd-5th Grade 
Tuition Rate: $350 / Week
Location: Walnut Springs Elementary
Hours: 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Days: Mondays - Thursdays 
Dates: June 1 - July 23 (excluding week of June 29)

Activities: Campers will take field trips in and around Austin four days a week. Some of the previous activities have including swimming, cave exploration, zoos, movies, bowling, etc.

Other Summer Camps

Grades: Pre-K - 5th Grade (*Grade assignment for the 2026-2027 school year)
Tuition Rate: Costs vary per child weekly 
Location: Walnut Springs Elementary
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., half-time and full-time available; varies per camp
Days: Mondays - Thursdays 
Dates: June 1 - July 30 (excluding week of June 29)

General Guidelines

  • Community Services enrichment classes (Kids College, Summer Camps) are offered for personal enrichment only and do not provide academic credit, grades, or transcripts.

  • Instructors for Community Services enrichment classes may be provided by independent contractors who are not regular employees of Dripping Springs Independent School District (the district).

  • The district does not endorse the views, opinions, products, or services presented by instructors or participants.

  • All instructors are subject to applicable district background check requirements; however, Community Services programs may not have the same supervision standards as K–12 instructional programs.

  • Participants are responsible for determining their own medical fitness to participate. The district does not provide medical supervision.

  • The district provides reasonable accommodations in accordance with the ADA. Requests must be submitted in advance.

  • The district may photograph or record classes for promotional or educational purposes unless a written opt-out is submitted.

  • The district reserves the right to remove participants whose behavior is disruptive or unsafe, without refund.

  • The district does not provide childcare or transportation for Community Services programs unless expressly stated.

Registration, Fees & Refunds

  • Classes/camps are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Class/camp fees are not prorated for late enrollment, missed classes, non-attendance, or inclement weather.

  • If Community Services cancels a class or camp, 100% of the cost, including the software admin fee is refunded.

  • 100% refund, less a $10 processing fee and the software admin fee, will be given to written requests two weeks before the start of the class/camp. We are unable to accommodate refund requests after this timeframe, including illness.

  • Transfers of registrations between students, accounts, classes, or camps are not permitted.

  • Classes may be canceled, rescheduled, or modified due to insufficient enrollment, facility availability, or instructor circumstances.

  • Refunds are issued only in accordance with the district’s Community Services refund policy.
