Please request VOEs for your driving permit 48 hours in advance. VOEs expire 30 days from date of issuance. Requests can be made by filling out the VOE Request Form.

You will receive an email response back once the VOE has been processed. VOEs can be requested Monday through Friday before, after, or during school lunch ONLY.

During the summer months, please email all requests to dshsattendance@dsisdtx.us.

VOEs will be emailed back to the requestor within 24 hours Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
