Construction crews are making great progress on the 18+ Program Facility on Sawyer Ranch Road, next to the Sycamore Springs campuses! This week, the DSISD Board of Trustees toured the facility to see the progress firsthand. Approved by voters as part of the 2023 Bond, the project continues to take shape. Window installation is complete, roofing is nearing completion, and crews are currently installing HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. The project is projected to be completed in late December. We look forward to seeing this new space come together to better serve our 18+ Program students!
Dripping Springs High School Theatre presents the first of four performances of The Play That Goes Wrong tonight at 7:00 PM in the DSHS Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased here.
Dripping Springs will compete against 28 other Class 6A bands at the area contest on Saturday, October 31, at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio.

National School Bus Safety Week is recognized each October to highlight one shared priority: keeping students safe on and around school buses. Safety is a shared responsibility! Here’s how you can help keep our students safe:
Parents: Talk to your kids about bus safety! Remind them to stand 3 giant steps back from the curb, make eye contact with the driver before crossing, and never walk behind a school bus.
Drivers: Slow down near bus stops and on neighborhood roads. Remember: yellow flashing lights mean prepare to stop, and red flashing lights with an extended stop arm mean STOP - it's the law.

Dripping Springs High School Theatre presents "The Play That Goes Wrong" for its first performance of the 2026-27 school year. Four performances will be held in the DSHS auditorium from October 22-24. Tickets are on sale now at dshstheater.ludus.com.
All parking lots will be open except for the A and G lots. The campus will be closed to traffic around 5:50 p.m. We ask that spectators remain behind the barricades along Mighty Tiger Trail while the parade is in progress.
The community pep rally will take place at Tiger Stadium immediately following the parade.

The Dripping Springs High School HOSA program will host a blood drive on Tuesday, August 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the school's front parking lot.
