Howdy! My name is Raynie McLaurin, and I’m excited to be starting my fifth year at Cypress Springs Elementary and my tenth year as a school counselor.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University (Whoop!) in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Early Childhood Education. While teaching, I discovered a true passion for supporting students beyond the classroom, which led me to pursue my master’s degree in School Counseling from Sam Houston State University.

I live right here in Dripping Springs with my husband, Kaleb, and our two daughters, Reese (7) and Kate (5). We absolutely love being part of this community, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue building relationships and supporting the amazing students and families at Cypress Springs Elementary.

Hi there! My name is Christi Jacobs, and I’m proud to serve as the School Counselor for Kindergarten through 2nd grade at Cypress Springs Elementary. This is my 14th year in education and my 2nd year as a school counselor for Dripping Springs ISD. I graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in Youth and Community Studies. After spending several years in the classroom, I decided to pursue a degree in School Counseling from Lamar University. I live in Wimberley with my husband Derek and my kids Reece (16) and Brooklyn (14). If we're not at one of our kids' sporting events, you can catch us traveling or hiking. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Cypress Springs community and can’t wait for a year full of growth, laughter, and learning!
