DSISD campuses welcomed 8,800 students on Wednesday for the first day of the 2025–26 school year! We also celebrated the opening of Wildwood Springs Elementary, our sixth elementary campus, as it welcomed students for its very first day of classes.
🎉 Monday marked the big return for a majority of DSISD’s teachers and staff as they came back to campuses to gear up for the school year ahead! From professional development sessions to creatively setting up classrooms, the school halls are once again buzzing! 🧑🏫

Early voting ends tomorrow (April 29) for the May 2025 election. Early voting locations in Dripping Springs are the Center for Learning & Leadership (300 Sportsplex Drive) and Patriots' Hall (231 Patriots’ Hall Boulevard).
Are you enrolling your student in DSISD for the 2025-26 school year? The annual Online Verification process must be completed each year for all students – those who are currently enrolled in DSISD and those who are new to our district and just completed New Student Registration. On Monday, the DSISD Board of Trustees visited Cypress Springs Elementary. Trustees were shown around campus by Student Lighthouse Team leaders where they visited several classrooms during engaging science lessons. They also attended a first grade egg drop experiment where crew members from PEC dropped student-designed containers to assess which designs protected the eggs best! Trustees also previewed the upcoming art show and learned about the planned campus garden and farmers market!\
Dripping Springs ISD will be hosting two community information sessions about the May 2025 Bond on April 9 in the Center for Learning & Leadership. Parents and community members are invited to attend either a morning session at 9:30 a.m. or an evening session at 6:00 p.m. We will be here to share information about the upcoming bond and answer your questions.
DSISD campuses and offices will be closed next week for spring break! Classes will resume on Monday, March 24.

DSISD has announced grandfathering guidelines for the attendance rezoning that will go into effect for the 2025-26 school year with the opening of Wildwood Springs Elementary and the expansion of Sycamore Springs Middle School.
