Dripping Springs

The application window for Dripping Springs ISD’s 2026-27 Community Advisory Committees is now open through Friday, September 4.

The success of Dripping Springs ISD is dependent on its partnership and effective engagement between district administration and the community, including parents, taxpayers, businesses, and others. 

Stakeholders provide valuable insight, expertise, and feedback to the District through DSISD’s Community Advisory Committees. Community Advisory Committees provide input to the district on a variety of subjects, including bond and construction oversight, academic programming, student health initiatives, and more. They also strengthen the ties between the district, its campuses, and the community, and enhance the core educational process. 

Community members may apply for as many committees as they like; however, participants are limited to serving on one district community advisory committee per year. A list of committees and their application form for the 2026-27 school year are as follows: 

COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEES

• Bond Advisory Committee

• Campus Advisory Committees

• CTE Advisory Committee

• District Advisory Committee

• Gifted & Talented Advisory Committee

• School Health Advisory Council

• Special Education Parent Leadership Committee

Applications will be reviewed and stakeholders will be notified no later than October 1 if they have been selected for a committee. Applicants are evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Relevant areas of expertise and credentials;

• Equitable campus and demographic representation;

• Prior or current membership on district-level or campus-level committees;

• Prior or current membership on community committees;

• Individual interest and rationale for applying to serve on the specified committee.
