The Dripping Springs ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved navy blue and gold as the official school colors for Driftwood Springs High School at its June 22 meeting.

The color combination was the top choice of the community-based Naming & Branding Committee this spring and aligns with community survey feedback supporting one shared color and one unique color between the district’s two high schools. Gold is also a common color among all of DSISD’s elementary schools.

Driftwood Springs High School is currently under construction on Darden Hill Road in Driftwood. The campus will feature a 506,000-square-foot main building with a capacity of 2,500 students. Planned facilities include baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, two practice fields, an auditorium, a band practice lot, an agriculture barn, and a sub-varsity competition stadium.

The campus is slated to open for the 2028-29 school year.

The Driftwood Springs High School mascot is expected to be approved this fall.
