Eight Dripping Springs High School choir students advanced to the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Area E auditions after placing in the top five of their respective voice parts at the Pre-Area auditions held Saturday, Nov. 15, at Johnson High School in Buda.
Alaina Atkins (Soprano 2) and Charles Schubert (Bass 2) earned the highest placements for Dripping Springs, each finishing second in their voice part.
The Area E auditions will take place Saturday, Jan. 10, at Reagan High School in San Antonio.
