Nearly 200 current Dripping Springs High School students have been recognized by College Board for their outstanding performance on Advanced Placement (AP) exams administered in the spring of 2025.
AP Scholar Awards are granted at various levels, based on students' average scores and the total number of exams taken:
AP Scholar: Granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.
AP Scholar with Honor: Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
AP Scholar with Distinction: Granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
Of the 190 recognized students, 55 earned the highest honor—AP Scholar with Distinction. An additional 41 students were named AP Scholar with Honor, and 94 students received the AP Scholar award.
More than 150 members of the Class of 2025 also received honors.
