Dripping Springs ISD will host a public ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of Wildwood Springs Elementary on Tuesday, September 9.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a brief program at the front entrance of the campus. Following the ceremony, campus leaders will guide small groups on tours of the new school.
Wildwood Springs Elementary opened this month as the district’s sixth elementary school. Funded by the 2023 bond program, the new campus was built to help alleviate overcrowding at Dripping Springs Elementary and Walnut Springs Elementary. Located in the Headwaters neighborhood at 294 Mira Vista Drive, the school has the capacity to serve 850 students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.
