Floral Design

Dripping Springs High School students set a new record in 2025, with over 200 students earning a total of 234 industry-based certifications through the school’s Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs.

Certifications were awarded across a wide range of career pathways, including animal science, biotechnology, business, computer science, engineering, floral design, health science and welding.

Whether students plan to attend college or enter the workforce directly, these certification courses equip them with valuable technical, communication, collaboration and leadership skills. These credentials help students build strong career portfolios and earn higher wages. They also provide foundational knowledge and skills critical for future jobs, giving students a competitive edge.

Students in the health science pathway earned the most certifications, with 76 total, including credentials such as Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, Certified Patient Care Technician, Certified Pharmacy Technician, and Certified Personal Trainer. Additionally, 62 students earned the Stukent Social Media Marketing Certification—the highest number for a single certification.
