On Thursday, Dripping Springs High School senior swimmer Jordan Ledbetter signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his athletic and academic career at Montclair State University (New Jersey).
Ledbetter joins 33 other Dripping Springs High School senior student-athletes who have signed to compete at the next level this school year.
Ledbetter is a 13-time regional qualifier and school record holder for the Tiger swim program. As a junior and senior, he qualified for regionals in the 100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard IM, 200-yard medley relay and the 400-yard freestyle relay.
In 2025, Ledbetter captured the district title in the 100 breaststroke for the second consecutive year with a time of 59.30 to help the squad to a second-place finish, the team’s highest district finish as a 6A program. As a senior, he was also part of the 400 freestyle relay that set a new school record with a time of 3:09.29.
He is the son of Lonnie and Scott Ledbetter and was coached by Michael Hoskovec.
