If your student has medication(s) in the nurse's office please make arrangements to pick them up on or before May 26, 2023. Medications cannot be sent home with your student. Unclaimed medications, inhalers, or EpiPens remaining in the nurse's office at the end of the day on May 26, 2023, will be destroyed per state rules. No medications will be left on the school property over the summer. EpiPens and inhalers are encouraged to be picked up as close to the last day of school as possible. As a reminder for the upcoming school year 2023-24 a new medication permission form & action plans for health conditions are required each year. These can be found on the district home page under Health Services or on your school nurse’s webpage. For any questions please contact your campus nurse. Thank you, DSISD Nurses
