Thank you for an exceptional week at Cypress Springs!  We are proud of our fabulous learning community!

  1. Our classrooms will celebrate Valentine's Day through mini classroom celebrations. Classrooms will participate in a kindness activity led by the teacher. This event is for students and teachers only. Thank you for supporting the teacher and students in celebrating kindness with one another.

  2. Mark your calendars for February 18 and 21 as they are Student Holiday and Staff Professional Learning Days.

  6. We have had an increase in late arrivals and early departures.  Please be mindful of instructional times missed so we can maximize our learning opportunities.  THANK YOU!

  7. It has been observed that families are entering CSES through the construction entrance. Please know this is not an entrance and we ask that you follow the designated traffic patterns.  Thank you for your support.

  8. The drive to enter and exit CSES is in a school zone and it is unlawful to be on your cell phone while in a school zone.  Please help to keep us all safe!

  9. During the week of February 28th, CSE is joining thousands of schools across the country in a celebration of reading. When we make time to read with kids, they get the message that reading is important and fun! We have planned some special interactive events to engage our students in the 'why' behind reading. Our goal is to create a community of lifelong readers who appreciate the value that story adds to their lives! Here are PK-2  and 3-5 outlines of our focused reading celebrations and the accompanying books. 

  10. CSE PTA Updates

  • PTA General Meeting February 17, 8am via Zoom - We will have our February PTA General Membership Meeting on Thursday, February 17 at 8:00 AM via Zoom. Please register to receive the Zoom link here.

  • Yearbook Cover Contest Winners - Our 5th graders with the assistance of our amazing Art Teacher, Ms. McFee entered their designs in a Yearbook Cover Contest. All the designs were beautiful and the judges had a difficult time making a decision, but here are the winners! CONGRATULATIONS!

  • Yearbook Ordering Info - Yearbooks are on sale for $30, now until March 28. For an additional cost, you can personalize any yearbook and give a shout out to a graduating 5th grader! Questions can be directed to secretary@csepta.org.

  • Fabulous Fridays in February - This Friday PTA will be providing teachers/staff with fizzy drinks and punch. Thank you for your contributions on this! Please check out our  Sign Up   for a  SOUPER Luncheon on Friday, Feb 25! We need volunteers for set up, clean up and to provide deliciousness in a crockpot.

  • APEX IS COMING February 28-March 11- The Apex Fun Run is an amazing 2-week interactive leadership program combined with a fitness-focused event fundraiser. Our goal is to raise funds to provide shade covers for our campus playgrounds. Find out more about Apex here.
