Thanksgiving Break is November 22-26 and we will return on Monday, November 29.

Please be mindful of classroom instructional times when scheduling appointments and travel. Learning is impacted when students are not present. We understand that appointments are needed and family obligations happen, however, please limit the early pick ups from school so that we can fully support student learning. In addition, when a student misses 10% or 18 absences, they lose credit for the school year, and plans are required to be made for students to earn credit. Thank you for your support with student attendance. It matters!

CSE PTA has applied for designation as a National PTA School of Excellence, with the goal of growing family participation in advocacy for education. The Excellence Team will meet monthly to create and implement an action plan for the 2021-22 school year. If you are interested in being on this Excellence Team, please email president@csepta.org.

Join us for Family Movie Night Friday, December 3 from 6pm - 8pm in the gym at CSE! The kids will vote this week on the feature film: Muppets Christmas Carol, Elf, or The Grinch!

It's time to stock the December POWER Store, where students redeem their Cypress Cash for prizes. Our children work so hard to earn these rewards, so please help us encourage and reinforce that positive behavior by donating items from our wishlist. Orders must be placed by Friday, December 3 to be included in our December POWER Store.
