Three Dripping Springs High School choirs earned Overall Superior Ratings (Sweepstakes) at the UIL Concert and Sight-reading Evaluation on March 7-8 at the Hays CISD Performing Arts Center in Kyle.

The DSHS Varsity Chamber Choir, Varsity Treble Choir and the JV Treble Choir each prepared and memorized three choral pieces to perform in concert before a panel of judges then sang a never-before-seen piece before judges for the sight-reading portion.

Each choir earned a Superior Rating for both concert and sight-reading to collect Sweepstakes honors.
