Powered by five top-10 finishes, the Dripping Springs High School girls’ swimming and diving team tied for ninth place with 92 points at the UIL 5A State Meet on Saturday, Feb. 19, in Austin.

Highlighting Saturday’s action was the third-place finish by the 400-yard freestyle relay team of Athena Turner, Macie McCurry, Anna Hoskovec and Riley Dalton. The quartet also captured fourth place in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a school-record time of 1:38.43, totaling a combined 61 points for the girls’ team between the two relay events.
