Due to the significant icing and freezing temperatures in the area through tomorrow afternoon, Dripping Springs ISD will be closed tomorrow, Friday, February 4. This closure includes all campuses and offices, as well as all district events and activities. 

We realize that school closures create a hardship for some of our families; however, Dripping Springs ISD covers 198 square miles and travel on many rural and hill country roads in the district can be exceptionally dangerous. The safety of our staff and students is always our priority.

The district has sufficient instructional minutes allocated within our school year calendar and as a result, students will not need to make up for either of the bad weather days. Please stay safe and warm. We look forward to classes and district operations resuming Monday, February 7.
