With the Winter Storm Warning that is in effect for our area, all Dripping Springs ISD schools and district offices will be closed Thursday, February 3, for the safety of our families and staff. This closure includes all activities and events scheduled for Thursday, February 3.

We are closely watching the weather and consulting with county and weather officials about the forecasted conditions for Friday, February 4. We will continue to monitor conditions closely and update families by Thursday afternoon regarding plans for Friday.

We realize our decision to cancel classes may pose a challenge to our working parents and guardians. However, we recognize with the impending weather that is slated to affect the area that canceling school is the safest alternative for our staff, students and families. 

Please stay home and stay safe. We will communicate our decision about Friday as soon as we can.
