Three DSHS DECA Students Earn Top-10 Finishes at International Competition

Three Dripping Springs High School DECA students earned top-10 finishes at the 2021 virtual International Career Development Conference.
The team of Eli Craddock and Jackson Kaiser placed second in the world in Sports and Entertainment Marketing Team Decision-Making. In Entrepreneurship Series, Teagan Krewson finished in sixth place.
An additional three students were international qualifiers based on their finishes at the state competition – Gracie Johnson in Food Marketing, Margot Heltzel in Principles of Finance, and Clara Smartt in Sports and Entertainment Marketing.
DECA students capped off a historic year after advancing a school-record 11 students to the state finals. A total of 28 students qualified for the state competition, the second-most in school history.
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
