Starting with an April 12 special meeting, Dripping Springs ISD Board of Trustees meetings will return to an in-person format, with safety protocols in place. Meetings will be held at the Dripping Springs High School auditorium until future notice. The larger capacity of the auditorium compared to the current board room can better accommodate social distancing. Meetings will be video-streamed in real time, but will no longer be conducted through the use of Zoom.
To maintain a one-way traffic flow, one side of the auditorium will be used as an entrance, and one side will be used as an exit. Facemasks will be required to enter the auditorium, as they are in all DSISD schools. In addition, seating will be marked to accommodate social distancing.
Public forum will be held live and public comments must be made in person. A table to check in and pick up forms will be located at the auditorium entrance. Forms must be submitted by the start of the meeting, typically at 6:00 p.m. The option of recording public comments by phone will no longer be available.
The meeting links to view meetings live (and archived) on YouTube will continue to be published with the meeting agendas. The link for the April 12 meeting is available here.
