Two Dripping Springs High School students taking German as a foreign language placed in the Goethe Institute's "Utopian Thinkers Wanted" competition. This was a national competition for high school students in recognition of the 30-year anniversary of Germany's reunification.
Senior Lily Stone placed second in the contest with a Powerpoint she submitted, while junior Jenna Hodsden placed third with a comic. Together, they won $750 for the German department at DSHS.
The students will be honored in Zoom awards ceremony the week of Dec. 14, 2020.
