DSHS's Production of "Anything Goes" Receives 11 Award Nominations

The Dripping Springs High School Theatre Department production of "Anything Goes" received 11 nominations in the 2020 Greater Austin High School Musical Theatre Awards program.
DSHS received nominations in the following categories:
Best Direction
Best Scenic Design
Best Lighting Design
Best Actress in a Supporting Role (Claire Tole)
Best Costume Design
Best Ensemble
Best Actress in a Leading Role (Katie Haberman)
Best Choreography
Best Actor in a Leading Role (Austin Harper)
Best Actor in a Leading Role (Ryan McCartney)
Best Production
The Awards Ceremony, which celebrates the outstanding achievements of high school teachers and students with a combination of school performances, multi-school student performances and awards, is scheduled for April 15 at the Long Center.
In 2018, DSHS received eight GAHSMTA nominations and two wins for its production of "Little Shop of Horrors."
