The Dripping Springs High School Tiger Marching Band has advanced to the UIL State Competition after finishing in second place at the 5A Area D event on Oct. 26. The DSHS Tiger Band has qualified for six out of the last seven state competitions, including a second-place finish at the most recent 5A competition in 2017.
At the Area D event held in Pflugerville, DSHS placed second in prelims and finals with the "Mass=Force/Acceleration" show.
