    Dripping Springs ISD announced the district’s 2021 Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year at the May 24 Board of Trustees meeting. The DSISD Elementary Teacher of the Year is Kristen Northrup, second-grade teacher at Rooster Springs Elementary, and the DSISD Secondary Teacher of the Year is Micki Whitacre, Statistics/Algebra 2 teacher at Dripping Springs High School.   • DSISD iPad, Chromebook and Hotspot Collection

    All DSISD devices that have been checked out by students must be returned to schools per campus schedules for in-person students or by June 2, 2021, for remote students.     Throughout the pandemic, Dripping Springs ISD has been committed to providing the safest possible environment for all students and staff. As a district, we have continued to monitor conditions and data related to COVID-19 and safety protocols.   • Dr. Morris-Kuentz Hired as Superintendent

    At the May 5 special meeting of the Dripping Springs ISD Board of Trustees, the Board unanimously approved to hire Dr. Holly Morris-Kuentz as Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Morris-Kuentz, who most recently served as Deputy Superintendent at Lake Travis ISD, was named lone finalist for the position on April 13, 2021. She will begin her new role immediately.
