Instructional Materials Adoption Review

Selecting grade-level instructional materials adopted by the State Board of Education (SBOE) is an essential task for DSISD. Campus and district staff carefully consider feedback from parents and community stakeholders when making recommendations to the Dripping Springs ISD Board of Trustees. The DSISD Resource Adoption Committee is currently reviewing K-12 full-subject Mathematics in English and Spanish (including Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II) that will be implemented in August 2026.

Physical sample kits of these math instructional materials will be available for parent and community review from March 2 through March 27 by appointment. The in-person review option is available at the Center for Learning & Leadership at 300 Sportsplex Drive (Room A-112) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on regular school days during the preview window.

To schedule an appointment to preview materials and complete a feedback survey, please reach out to Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Alicia Maphies, at Alicia.Maphies@dsisdtx.us. Feedback surveys must be returned to Alicia Maphies by March 27, 2026.
