2023

In May of 2023, Dripping Springs ISD voters approved a $223,698,907 bond referendum that funded the following:

  • Construction of Elementary #6

  • Expansion of Sycamore Springs Middle School to 1,200 Student Capacity

  • New 18+ Program Facility

  • Design for High School #2, Elementary #7 and Middle School #3

  • Land for Future Facilities

  • Capital Improvements and Renovations for Dripping Springs Elementary, Dripping Springs Middle School and Dripping Springs High School

  • Reconfigure Center for Learning & Innovation and Maker Space at Rooster Springs Elementary

  • Updated Sound and Lighting Systems in Spaces at Various Campuses

  • Replace Pressure Reducing Valves on Various Campuses

  • Security and ADA Updates

  • New Buses to Replace Aging Fleet

  • Child Nutrition Services Equipment Replacements

  • Technology Infrastructure ((Network, Servers, Firewall, AV)

  • Classroom Portables

2018

Dripping Springs ISD voters approved a $132 million bond referendum on May 5, 2018. The bond package included funding for:

  • Expansion of Dripping Springs High School (DSHS) to capacity for 2,500 students

  • Construction of Cypress Springs Elementary

  • Construction of a new Walnut Springs Elementary (WSE)

  • Conversion of the former WSE campus into the Center for Learning & Leadership

  • Miscellaneous projects at Dripping Springs Middle School (DSMS), Dripping Springs Elementary and Rooster Springs Elementary

  • Turf and track improvements at DSHS and DSMS

  • Improvements and expansion of the District Transportation facility

  • District-wide technology infrastructure improvements and maintenance upgrades, and land acquisition

2014

In May of 2014, voters approved a $92,410,000 bond referendum that included funding for:

  • Construction of Sycamore Springs Elementary and Sycamore Springs Middle School

  • Multi-Purpose Stadium at the competition field behind Dripping Springs High School

  • Dripping Springs High School Baseball/Softball Complex

  • Public Access Road connecting Tiger Stadium to Highway 290

  • District-wide Technology Renovations

  • Expansion of the High School Locker Room Facilities

  • HVAC System and Roof Replacements

2007

In November of 2007, Dripping Springs ISD voters approved a $96,170,000 bond that included funding for:

  • Convert and Expand Existing Middle School into High School for 1,800 Students

  • Convert Existing High School to Middle School for 1,200 Students

  • Land for Future Facilities

2005

Dripping Springs ISD voters approved a $28,750,000 bond referendum in March of 2005 that included funding for:

  • Construction of Rooster Springs Elementary

  • Expansion of Dripping Springs Intermediate School to 850 Student Capacity (later became Walnut Springs Elementary)

  • Land for Future Facilities

  • Infrastructure Upgrades, Repairs, and Replacement to Expand

    Communications and Technology

  • Safety and Security Upgrades and Repairs at Dripping Springs High School and Dripping Springs Middle School

  • High School Site and Drainage Improvements

  • Improvements to Transportation Center
