The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board is pleased to announce that the 2024-25 application for the Teach for Texas Loan Repayment Assistance Program is now available.  

The Teach for Texas Loan Repayment Assistance Program was created to recruit and retain certified classroom teachers in critical shortage fields or communities. 

Qualified applicants may receive loan repayment assistance for up to five years for eligible education loans based on full-time classroom teaching. The program flyer contains additional details on eligibility requirements and a hyperlink to the program’s webpage. 

The deadline to apply and submit the employment verification form for the 2024-25 academic year is July 31, 2025. Please extend this opportunity to individuals who could benefit from participation in this program.
