• Vaccination Information:

Texas state law requires that ALL seventh-graders receive the following vaccines:

    • Tdap booster - 1 dose within the last 5 years
    • Meningococcal vaccine (MCV4, MCV4P) - 1 dose on or after student's 11th birthday

For those parents who do not want their children to be vaccinated for reasons of conscience, a notarized Affidavit of Exemption must be filed with the school.

In order for parent to have access to the student's schedule in Skyward and to start school, proof of immunization or a current, notarized affidavit must be received.

Updated shot records may be faxed, mailed, emailed, or physically brought to the school.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin in 2003. Hook 'Em!

This is my seventh year at DSMS and I firmly believe I have the very best job on Earth. It is such a privilege to know and care for your children. I have been married for 20 years to a Dripping Springs native and we have one daughter, Taylor, in 11th grade.

In addition to running a busy clinic, I'm also the proud sponsor of the DSMS Tiger Closet, our donation-based on-campus clothing closet. Any DSMS student may 'shop' the Tiger Closet for clothing, backpacks, basic necessities, and more. We'd love to be your drop-off destination for clothing in both new and excellent used condition. Please contact me!

Things that bring me joy: this school, this community, kindness, coffee, peanut M&Ms, yoga, watching our daughter on stage, listening to podcasts, sparkling water, sunshine, rainbows, football, books, my kitties (Tink & Tex), & thrifting.
