We also collaborate on Parent University speakers, plan Social Emotional Learning author visits and in general, provide support where needed. If you would like support for your child’s social-emotional needs, please do not hesitate to reach out to us any time. We are here to help! For additional parent support, learning opportunities and resources, visit the DSISD Counseling and/or Parent University pages.
Hello! My name is Casey Baker and I am looking forward to another amazing year here at SSES! I have been in education for 15 years and this is my second year as a school counselor. I am a proud Dripping Springs alumni ... go Tigers! I graduated from Texas State University with my Bachelors in Science and Lamar University with my Masters in Professional School Counseling. I have three amazing children: Holden (9), Blake (7) and Neely (4). We all love to spend our time together outdoors by the water and riding bikes. I am looking forward to another year at SSES working alongside you and your family.
I am beyond excited to be one of the school counselors at Sycamore Springs Elementary this year! I just completed my 16th year as a classroom teacher and have had the honor of teaching at Sycamore Springs Elementary since it opened. I decided to start my own educational journey to become a school counselor so I could focus on the social emotional needs of students to help support their learning. I completed my Masters in School Counseling at the University of Texas at Tyler in May of 2021. I have loved being a part of the Dripping Springs ISD family and feel fortunate to continue my career here as a school counselor. I live in Dripping Springs with my husband, Whitten, and two children, Ryan and Jackson.
