I am beyond thrilled to be able to serve as the counselor for Dripping Springs Elementary! I am excited to work with the faculty and parents of this great school. But most importantly, I look forward to working with the wonderful students of DSES on a daily basis. Helping students reach their full potential while enjoying their educational experience is why I chose this rewarding profession.
I come from a family of educators, so education has been an important part of my life from a very young age. I received my Bachelor’s degree in 2001 and my Master’s degree in 2003 from Angelo State University. I completed my counseling certification in 2008, and my administrative certification in 2011. My career in education began in 2002 as a middle school teacher. Over the past 13 years, I have served as a teacher, a coach, and a counselor for students of all ages in Wimberley ISD, Marble Falls ISD, and most recently in Lake Travis ISD.
My husband, Brad, is a teacher at Lake Travis ISD. I am blessed to be the stepmom to two awesome boys, Maverick and Atlas, who attend Dripping Springs Elementary. I love spending time with my family. When we are not at school, you will find us camping, hiking, traveling, or enjoying any other outdoor activity.
I love working with the DSES community!
