Hello and welcome to all the new families! I am looking forward to serving alongside each of you as the proud principal of Dripping Springs Elementary for another year! I am eager to begin year 6 with the DSE family! Each of you has a special place in my heart!
I started my journey in education in 2005 after graduating from Texas State University with my Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Math. I taught high school Spanish for 10 years before beginning my role as an administrator. I also coached cheerleading, swimming and even bowling! I completed my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2013 (also from Texas State- Go Bobcats!) and for the last 6 years I have been an administrator and I love my job and your students!
The rewards I have received in my years of education for serving children have been countless. Working with kids is such a joy and I could not imagine any other profession. I truly feel so lucky to have the opportunity to work with young minds every day. It is a passion of mine and I am so excited to share more memories with each of you again next year!
My husband and I met at Texas State and we have two beautiful children that also attend DSE. We enjoy spending time with family, competing in sports, being outside and attending college football games. We also have two pups, Zoey (miniature dachshund) and Diesel (a great dane) and they are just as much a part of the family as the kiddos!
Let’s make it a great year! ☺

I am honored and excited to serve the DSE community as your new Assistant Principal. I look
forward to serving each one of you, and making this a great year. This is my 14th year in education during which time I have served as a middle school Reading teacher, a
Family Specialist, and an Assistant Principal. I graduated from UTSA with my Bachelor’s degree
in Interdisciplinary Studies, and Concordia University with my Master’s degree in Education
Administration. My husband Raul and I have two amazing children and a grandson who make our world go
‘round. Our son Evan is a graduate of A&M (Gig’em Aggies!), and our daughter Celina is a
student at Texas State University (Eat ‘em up, Cats!). We also have two four-legged children,
Mona and Oliver, who allow us to live in their house!I am excited to work with the DSE staff, parents, students, and community to provide every child
the support and resources necessary to reach their fullest potential. It is such a joy to watch
children learn and grow, and I feel blessed to be allowed to do this daily.I believe open lines of communication are extremely important, and therefore always maintain
an open door policy. I look forward to meeting all of you and working together throughout the
year.Go Tigers!
