Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Dyer

Welcome! My name is Ms. Dyer and I have been teaching science for twelve years now! I have my Bachelor's Degree in Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University, my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, and I am currently working on my PhD in Psychology from Northcentral University. I have a passion for teaching science and look forward to working with your students this year.

  • OUR GOALS THIS YEAR

This year in science we will be covering curriculum to help students pass their Science STAAR test and to help prepare students to become life long learners and productive contributors to society. In science this year, students will refresh their memory on biology. They will learn the incredible world of chemistry. They will become more familiar with physics. They will understand how features on Earth are formed through movement in our mantle. They will discover parts of the Universe many never even realized were out there. They will learn how to read a weather map and will understand how we, as humans, affect our environment and impact or oceans.
