Middle School Advanced Academics

Students at Dripping Springs Middle School and Sycamore Springs Middle School have the opportunity to take Honors courses. These courses are designed to challenge motivated students to understand the rigorous content and to prepare students for high school Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Honors courses are currently offered in Grades 6-8 for all core content areas.

Dripping Springs High School offers 22 Advanced Placement courses, as well as many Honors courses. AP classes are college-level courses guided by College Board that are taken as a part of the high school program, offering students the opportunity to take courses with more challenging college-level content. Students who score successfully on AP exams may qualify for college credit at most colleges and universities.
