TEMPORARY DISABILITY LEAVE
Temporary Disability Leave (TDL) can provide up to 180 calendar days of unpaid, job-protected leave for eligible certified employees who are unable to work for an extended period of time because of a mental or physical disability of a temporary nature.
- The medical need for leave and the duration of leave must be certified by a healthcare provider.
- TDL runs concurrently with FML (if applicable), and any paid leave that you have.
Full-time employees whose positions require certification from the State Board for Educator Certification are eligible for TDL.
