LONG-RANGE FACILITY PLANNING
Dripping Springs ISD reconvened the Long-Range Facility Planning Committee (LRFPC) in November of 2018 to help district administration plan for continued enrollment growth in the district over the next 5-10 years. Among the group’s responsibilities will be assessing the status of current facilities, reviewing and analyzing student enrollment data, assessing future facility needs, and receiving updates on projects associated with the 2018 bond program. The group will include representation from community members, parents, and DSISD staff.
“We want to approach the facility planning process as an ongoing effort rather than forming a committee the year of a potential bond program,” shared Superintendent Bruce Gearing prior to the November meeting. “The more our stakeholders are involved in the entire planning process, the more prepared we will be to make good decisions that will impact our community for many years to come.”
Another way that comments will be collected throughout the process is through a Google form that is available here.
