    The agenda has  been posted for the March 8, 2021 DSISD Board of Trustees special meeting. The purpose of the meeting is to approve the missed school day waivers for submission to TEA. The meetings will be conducted via videoconference, as permitted by Governor Abbott’s temporary suspension of Open Meetings Laws. The meeting will begin at 5:00 p.m. Board members will participate remotely and members of the general public can use a link to connect to the audio of the meetings.  Those wishing to provide comments for Public Forum should call 512.827.7365 to record comments by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. Because this is a special meeting, public comments must pertain to a posted agenda item. See Board Meeting webpage for more information.

    Tuesday, March 9, is an early release date for elementary schools. Students will be released at noon and buses will operate at that time.

    Samples of Pre-Kindergarten instructional materials scheduled for adoption during the Texas Education Agency’s 2021 Proclamation cycle are available for public review at the Dripping Springs ISD Administrative Offices. Due to winter weather, the previous deadline has been extended through Friday, March 12. The materials may be reviewed on regular school days between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Visitors should sign in at the front desk.

    The district's annual federal report card is now available as well as the 2019-20 TAPR (Texas Academic Performance Reports). The TPAR uses some assessment data is from Spring of 2019 because STAAR tests were not administered last spring.

Information is available on the instructional plan, remote learning, in-person learning, the collection of feedback, and other resources. Frequently Asked Questions on many topics are available as well.

  • District Response to Governor's Executive Order

    On March 2, Governor Abbott issued a new executive order, rescinding his previous orders, including restrictions on business occupancy and the statewide mask order, effective March 10, 2021. Our district remains committed to protocols we have in place to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and to keeping our schools open during this pandemic.   • Attendance Zone Community Meeting Scheduled for March 2

    As Dripping Springs ISD prepares for the opening of Cypress Springs Elementary, the process to develop new attendance zones is underway. A second community meeting is scheduled for March 2, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. Revised attendance zone maps, including middle school attendance zones/feeder patterns, will be presented at the community meeting for continuing discussion.
