  • DSHS GRADUATION:
    The Dripping Springs High School graduation ceremony for the Class of 2022 will be held Friday, May 27 at 8:00 p.m. at Tiger Stadium; gates will open at 6:30 p.m. Parking will be available in all lots at DSHS. Tickets are not required. The graduation ceremony will also be live-streamed here. Live captioning for the ceremony can be found here.

  • BOND ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING:
    The DSISD Bond Advisory Committee will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, June 1, at 6:00 p.m. in the DSISD Central Office Board Room (510 W. Mercer St.).

  • PRIVATE NON-PROFIT SCHOOL NOTICE FOR FEDERAL FUNDS:
    Under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), local educational agencies (LEAs) that receive federal funds are required to provide equitable services for eligible private non-profit school students, teachers, and other educational personnel. If you are the authorized official of a private non-profit, please contact Dr. Rhonda Whitman, DSISD Director of Student Services, at rhonda.whitman@dsisdtx.us or 512-858-3053. An initial equitable-services consultation will be held for eligible private non-profit schools on Tuesday, May 31 at 6:00 p.m. at the DSISD Central Office (510 W. Mercer St.), for eligible private non-profit schools.

  • District Teachers of the Year Announced

    Dripping Springs ISD announced the district’s 2022 Elementary and Secondary Teachers of the Year at the May 23 Board of Trustees meeting. The DSISD Elementary Teacher of the Year is Whitnee Dunn, a fifth-grade teacher at Rooster Springs Elementary, and the DSISD Secondary Teacher of the Year is Shanon Montgomery, a seventh-grade English Language Arts teacher at Dripping Springs Middle School.
