Dripping Springs ISD requires all students to complete the Recommended High School Program (RHSP) or Distinguished Achievement Program (DAP) to receive a diploma. Both are considered college preparatory graduation programs. The requirement may be waived under certain circumstances. When planning high school programs, students should inquire at the college of their choice as to specific entrance requirements. Students first entering 9th grade in 2011-12 and beyond will be required to meet End of Year Course Testing requirements that correspond to their diploma program. Students entering 9th grade prior to the 2011-12 school year must pass the exit level Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) test first given in the spring of a student's 11th grade year.
NOTE: Dripping Springs High School encourages all students to follow either the Recommended High School Program or the Distinguished Achievement Program.
